Premier Showfreight was awarded the BAE Systems contract and the Defence Manufacturers Association contract for DSEI 2007, Excel Centre, London Docklands. DSEI is the worlds largest and fastest growing Tri-Service Defence Exhibition and as such the unique platform for UK Companies to showcase their products in their own Country.

Project objectives for BAE Systems

• The co-ordination of some 10 working vehicles, including those certified as “Section 5”, from various UK and Overseas facilities to the BAE stand at DSEI, in accordance with the Client’s specific delivery date and time schedule to meet target build requirements.
• Collection of additional display equipment from various overseas BAE sites, shipment to UK, temporary importation and delivery to BAE stand, in accordance with the Client’s specific delivery date and time schedule to meet target build requirements.
• Uplift all equipment from BAE stand, at the conclusion of DSEI, and re-deliver to various UK and overseas addresses, within client’s delivery date and time schedule.

Project objectives for the Defence Manufacturers Association:

• Co-ordination with 129 exhibiting DMA members, to arrange collection from their premises to our consolidation depot.
• Consolidation of equipment on trailers for movement to the exhibition venue.
• Offloading and delivery to individual stands.
• Removal and storage of empty packing cases for duration of exhibition
• Return of empty cases, re-packing and return to our consolidation depot.
• Re-delivery to clients premises, in accordance with required timescales.

DSEI 2007 proved to be a particularly successful event for us and enhanced our position as the UK’s leading exhibition freight service provider to the Defence and Aerospace Industries.

This position has been maintained by our ongoing commitment to the industry and determination to provide the highest level of service, whilst constantly striving to add value by working closely with the customer to become an important and integral part of their overall event planning team.

At DSEI, Premier Showfreight Ltd handled a very large volume of freight, including some highly sensitive and specialised equipment, within tight time constraints. Every single delivery, undertaken by approximately 35 vehicles, to approximately 80 individual stands, was achieved on or ahead of schedule and within budget.

Every shipment was treated with the same degree of care and attention to detail, from a single box of marketing literature, to a full-scale howitzer.
